Blake Burton

Architecture Intern

Blake earned his Masters of Architecture from Georgia Tech in 2009 where he won first prize in an international student design competition for an airport terminal in Dallas.  He was also a finalist for the 2009 Masters Prize competition for his thesis on the relationship between architecture and photography.  Blake earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Birmingham-Southern College where he was also a member of their Division I baseball team.  Before joining Square Feet Studio, Blake worked at Urban Design Group and the City of Atlanta’s Enterprise Asset Management office.  When not practicing architecture, he pursues his other passion, photography.  His work has received awards and has appeared in several publications including National Geographic.  He is represented by Artist Trifecta Gallery in Atlanta.
